Osteograft - allogeneic transplants in long-term cooperation with DIZG

THE JOINT DIZG - GERMAN INSTITUTE FOR CELL AND TISSUE REPLACEMENT - was founded in 1993 by physicians and scientists based on the professional experience of the tissue banks of the University of Leipzig and the University Hospital Charité Berlin. The institute sees itself as a mediator between donor and patient. It wants to make the gift of tissue donation available to the community of medical professionals. Thanks to its outstanding safety and quality system, more than 500,000 human transplants have already been obtained by physicians and clinics in Germany and abroad.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ALLOGENEIC TRANSPLANTS

The use of DIZG transplants is subject to documentation in accordance with the Transplantation Act (TPG). For this purpose, labels for the patient file are enclosed with each package. All dimensions are approximate and minimum. They are subject to scatter due to preparation and tissue. Explanations and instructions for the application of the grafts can be found in the instructions for use and technical information enclosed with each package.

PRESERVATION METHODS FREEZE-DRYING (GT)

The preparations marked GT are freeze-dried (exception: amnion dried) and have a shelf life of five years from the date of manufacture when stored below 25°C in unoffnetted packaging. DBM pasty is ready for immediate use without rehydration, all other grafts must be rehydrated for at least 30 min in a suitable sterile, physiological medium (e.g. isotonic infusion solution).
